Hi, I don't know if I could properly write a testimony in the way I would want to but I can tell you some of the reasons I am grateful to God and how my faith was strengthened.

When I was in my mid twenties my ex had broken up with me and I really lost my way. I drank a lot and partied a lot and I became very numb and treated myself and others very poorly. I had changed in a bad way. 

I always believed In God but unfortunately I put him on the backburner. About 2 years after the breakup and still being a complete mess, I met my husband. I was invited to a pool party and I normally don't accept invitations out to people's houses but something told me to go. So I went with my best friend at the time and I met my husband and we talked a little bit. After that day, we spoke over Facebook and we set up a date to hang out. Going forward, my husband talked to me about God and asked if I would be interested in going to church. I was hesitant but said I would go. So we went to a church he knew of for quite a while and I met a lot of nice people there, learned more about myself and how my faith had been strengthened and I found myself getting on track and maturing as I got to know my husband and I got to learn more about God. God had brought my husband and I to each other that day, I truly believe it. 

He has blessed us with our healthy beautiful son, our house, our kitty and so much more!

I hope this helps you out a bit! I did want to say a good word about God but wasn't sure how to go about it. I owe God everything and I feel so very blessed that this life that I have is the life that I live and love. 

I’m not a perfect person, far from it, but my faith has been strengthened.
